Starting from Mallaig, we will be aiming to sail north with time to visit some outstanding anchorages around Gairloch, the Summer Isles, Lochinver and Kinlochbervie before rounding Cape Wrath with time to explore the north coast whilst making progress on a east-bound passage towards Thurso.
The crew change takes place in Thurso with options for a journey south by train.
This is not a specific training course, but an unique opportunity to cruise up the north west of Scotland and around Cape Wrath gaining valuable miles for logbooks. Naturally a variety of yacht skills can be practiced such as pilotage, shaping a course to steer and exploring anchorages.
No previous experience is required. However, the passage is committing and previous off-shore sailing experiences would make the passages more enjoyable.
Price includes onboard accommodation, food, fuel, berthing fees, waterproofs, equipment and instruction.
