A fastrack RYA Dinghy Instructor course for people with previous sailing experience. Becoming a RYA Dinghy Instructor opens up great opportunities for seasonal work both abroad and in the UK. You also play a very rewarding role, introducing many new people to the exciting sport of dinghy sailing.
The consecutive days on the water will improve your own performance massively and through this your ability to teach others. You will learn many seamanship skills, get experience conversing on the VHF, complete your First Aid course and experience a wide range of boats – both power and sail. The depth of this course will provide a sound level of knowledge and understanding and prepare you well for the role of Instructor.
Course includes: RYA Seamanship Skills, RYA Day Sailing, RYA Sailing with Spinnakers, Performance Sailing coaching, RYA Powerboat Level 2, inluding International Certificate of Competence, RYA First Aid, SRC VHF Radio certificate, RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship, RYA Fun and Safe Safeguarding, Dinghy Instructor Pre entry training and assessment (which must be successfully completed) before the final 5 days of RYA Dinghy Instructor training and assessment.
