Kayaking
Kayaking is a rewarding activity and the centre can equip you with the skills to get you started for sea or river kayaking. Our instructors teach to a very high standard and are happy to deliver tailored sessions.
Cumbrae is also a good base for any sea kayakers wishing to explore with safety support and instruction.
Introductory Sea Kayak Weekend
Age 16 +
A course for beginners who wish to gain a sound basic knowledge of the skills of the sport.

Kayak "Try a Day"
Age 16 +
An opportunity to give it a go. Experience the rewarding sport of sea kayaking under the guidance of our experienced instructors. A great introduction to the sport.

Kayak Evenings and Expedition
Age 16 +
A block of evenings to master the strokes and techniques of sea kayaking culminating in putting all the training into practice on a mini expedition or trip. The two options and costs are shown below. Camping equipment will be provided but sleeping bags and mats are required
Transport is available from and returning to Largs Yacht Haven for the evening sessions picking up 6pm sharp and return for 9pm.
Option 1: 4 evenings & 1 weekend (Sat am – Sun pm) expedition with overnight camp.
