Congratulations Yachtmasters Offshore

Congratulations to our two Professional Yachtmaster Candidates, Leven Brown and Phil Winch both have successfully passed their RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Exam. Phil and Leven joined  Cumbrae on our Professional Yachtmaster Training (PYT) programme. The intensive 18 week programme starts with the RYA competent crew training course and works through the many RYA courses both shore based and practical that are available. The programme though is far more than just the joining together of RYA courses, experience on board sail training vessels, ocean racing yachts, self sails, offshore passages all form part of the development of the individuals in becoming accomplished sailors.

Cumbrae believes in quality and not quantity with its PYT programme which runs twice a year. In passing their Yachtmaster Offshore exam Phil and Leven have maintained the 100% pass rate from the examinations at the end of the programme.
