Individuals

A perfect place to come on your own and meet new people! All our courses are open to any individuals subject to the pre-requisites of the course.

Groups

Groups of friends or clubs will find it easy to join in any of the listed courses. We also encourage you to contact us as you may prefer to have the activities tailored to your needs and interests. Through experience we are aware of differing ability levels and preferences within groups. We can confidently work with you to set up a multi activity programme that will satisfy everyone.

School groups

 Our island location offers an adventure away from home. The staff are experienced with school groups and understand the requirements and needs of the children. The activity weeks provide fun and learning in a safe environment. With full board the group is well looked after and the tuck shop and lounge area for evening entertainment are added attractions. Our school liaison member of staff will be pleased to visit your school and also organise a visit for you to come to the centre. Click here for Schools Section

Corporate facilities

The island is a perfect location for getting colleagues or clients away from the office. The sports we offer are good for recreation and team building and the island itself offers alternative activities that can be organised. Indoors are a range of comfortable lecture/conference rooms, with powerpoint, data projectors, flipcharts etc. a dining area, tea and coffee services and of course the ‘Scuttlebutt’ Bar.

Commercial groups

We have run many certificate training courses for commercial organisations including the M.O.D. HM Clyde Naval Base Faslane, R.S.P.B, Stenaline, and Serco to name a few. With our wealth of experience and professionalism we will be happy to work with you delivering your training needs to your workforce. Please contact us for specific information.

Divers

The Centre is well used by private diving groups. Launching and berthing of ribs is easy, self catering accommodation available, ribs for charter and an air compressor on site.

Special needs

We are aware that there are many forms of disability that may affect our customers use of our facilities. We give special attention to ensure that any difficulties are minimised and where possible, overcome. Different watersport activities have different physical demands. If you are unsure about the activity you are interested in pursuing then telephone and discuss the situation with our staff. We are committed to encouraging participation for all in watersports and will endeavour to suit your requirements.

 Scottish National Squad

 RYA Scotland run a number of Class Academies at the Centre which provide high standards of coaching supporting race training & competition. The majority of these take place in the winter months and additionally pre event training in the summer in preparation for the Championship Events at Largs.
