Welcome to our excellent watersports centre based on the idyllic island of Cumbrae, the home of the seaside resort town of Millport. A popular destination for great days out and summer holidays offering beautiful beaches, scenic views, safe cycling and walking and a traditional seaside experience.

Our chalet style buildings provide excellent facilities which include
· lecture rooms with smartboards and a range of teaching tools
· changing rooms
· drying room and kit store
· dining room
· comfortable lounge with tv and bar (open for adult visitors)
· sauna and gym facilities
· outdoor seating areas with sea view
· overnight accommodation
Each chalet has been upgraded and can accommodate 14 people with twin ensuite and bunkbedded options.
One chalet has a lounge area and basic kitchen facilities which can be used by self catering groups
The grounds provide car parking for guests and provide the space we require for the storage of equipment, rigging and preparation.
We aim to provide a good choice of wholesome meals and our catering team work from a modern kitchen to provide hot and delicious food.
Everything is in the price!
Tuition, equipment, waterproofs, wetsuits, wetsuit boots, dinghy suits, meals (unless stated), tea and coffee, certificates, accommodation (if appropriate), fuel and marina fees when cruising.
Travel to the centre, Friday evening meals & accommodation for weekend courses, log books, towels, insurance, wellies.
We view safety as being of paramount importance. Cumbrae is licensed by the Adventure Activity Licensing Authority and works to the standards of the National Governing Bodies. If you are unsure about you or your child’s ability to participate, please contact the Centre to discuss the course content.
All our full time and seasonal staff are highly qualified and have a great energy and enthusiasm for watersports.

The centre is situated on the picturesque island of Great Cumbrae.
It is an accessible island from the mainland with a 7 minute ferry crossing from Largs in Ayrshire. Click here for timetable
Travelling to Largs, take the M8 through Glasgow past the airport onto the A737 (Irvine) then A760 (Lochwinnoch, Kilbirnie, Largs) OR follow M8 to Greenock and continue on the coast road south..
There is a frequent train service near the ferry terminal to and from Glasgow Central Station with trains running every hour, the journey takes about an hour. Click here for Journey Planner

• 400m from the ferry slip on Cumbrae.
